Triangle United is again offering our popular Futsal program (indoor soccer - no walls) on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from early December through January. Futsal is played wearing sneakers or indoor soccer shoes (flats) in addition to their shinguards. Each week, the players in each age group will be split into different teams that play for an hour. It is fun for all ages, and a great way to stay active during the winter months.
Knowing that most families will miss one or two weekends due to holiday & winter schedules, we are again offering Futsal at the most reasonable price so that Triangle United families can participate the weeks they are in town, and get a good value.

What is Futsal?
from United States Futsal:
"Futsal is played on a basketball-size court. It can be played on a variety of surfaces. The game does not require the use of expensive dasher board - walls, as do other versions of indoor soccer.
Without the walls, futsal is a great skill-developer, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking, and pin-point passing. It is an exciting game for children as well as adults.
Great soccer superstars such as Pele, Zico and Socrates grew up playing the game and credit Futsal with developing their skills. Futsal is played with a special low bounce ball, requiring players to use their skills, rather than the ball’s bounce, to propel it."
