The Micro program is for ages U6 through U8, kids turning 6-8 years old during the year (between August 1, 2010 and July 31, 2011). The Micro Soccer Program is designed to teach the beginning soccer player born between 8/1/02 – 7/31/06 the basic technical skills used in the game of soccer. An excellent way for your child to learn through games and activities designed to ensure fun and learning.

The curriculum is age appropriate with the heaviest emphasis placed on fun. There will be both U6 (under 5 and 6 year olds) and U8 (under 7 and 8 year olds) player pools, there are no set teams allowing the flexibility to create the appropriate competitive level for all players in training and games.

Wednesday and Friday evenings in Chapel Hill, Triangle United is running the Micro soccer program. The small-sided games (3v3, 4v4, no goalkeepers) are designed to maximize young players’ (ages U6 - U8) time with the ball at their feet.
