Durham Inner-City Soccer Program

For the 5th year in a row, Triangle United will once again be involved in the DBYAL inner-city youth soccer program in Durham. DBYAL "provides recreational opportunities to Durham's inner city youth, many of which were Latino and African American.

Triangle United Alumni Wall

Triangle United is very proud of all of its players that have participated in our program.  We are extremely proud of those players that have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

Volunteers Needed for SV5K

Volunteer help is needed as course intersection signalers, water station helpers, or with the children's activities.  This is a great opportunity to help a worthy cause and have fun outside as well!

u15 ('99) Girls Gold Finish 9th out of 124 Teams at Gothia Cup

The u15 ('99) Girls Gold traveled to the Gothia Cup (Sweden) this past summer.  "The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1600 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 fields. It’s the teams, and participants from around the world that make the tournament unique. A meeting place for the world’s youth, irrespective of religion, skin color or nationality, with football as the common denominator."

u13 Boys Gold State Cup Champs

Congratulations to the u13 Boys Gold team for winning the u13 Boys State Championship.  They defeated CASL Elite in pks after playing to a 2-2 tie. 

TU Teams Show Well at Coast FA Tournament

Triangle United teams took to Myrtle Beach, SC the weekend of April 26-27 to participate in the Coast FA soccer tournament.  The weather was fantastic for all involved and a few of our teams made it into the finals.  Below is how some of our teams faired:

u9 Girls TU Dortmund: Champions

(4) u10 TU Barcelona Players Raise $8500 for NC Children's Hospital

4 Triangle United Barcelona u10 players raised over $8500 for the NC Children's hospital by selling bracelets this past summer.  Their plan is to fund four goggles that come with iPads($2000 each) which help the kids that are going through tough treatments.  It takes the kids to a happier place and helps take their minds off of what they are going through at the hospital.  With the remaining money they are going to buy books for the Children’s Hospital Library. 

YDA JRS (5-7 year olds) Program
A Year Round Technical Program for Boys and Girls

Program Objective: To provide an environment for players 5-7 years old (born between 8/1/2006  and 7/31/2009)  that have demonstrated the ability and desire to develop at a higher rate than a recreational player.  The Youth Development Academy Juniors program will focus on the development of individual technical skills in a team environment.  The atmosphere that is created will also foster player growth in areas of balance, coordination, teamwork and sportsmanship. 

u14 ('99) Girls Gold on ABC Channel 11 about Trip to Gothia Cup

The u14 Girls Gold team will be traveling to the Gothia Cup (Sweden) this week for 10 days to compete in the 40th Annual tournament that attracts over 1000 teams from around the World.

91 Triangle United Gold Boys and Their Legacy
1 National Finalist, 3 Regional Championships, 3 State Cups

During the 2006-2009 seasons, the 91 Triangle United Gold Boys team has helped put Triangle United on the map by their outstanding play on the field and their love for the game.  Having Elmar Bolowich (UNC-Chapel Hill Men’s Soccer Head Coach) as their club coach, not only did the club have a vital role model to learn from, so did the boys.
