Triangle United Girls Join the Development Player League (DP) -

National League Connected to the Girls Academy

Chapel Hill, N.C. – (February 24, 2021) –Triangle United has joined the Development Player League (DP) for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.  The club will have all of their girls’ top teams (2009 – 2004/03) participate in the league throughout the 2021-2022 season.

The vision of the DP is that they ‘believe through superior experiences, players will be able to showcase their talent, discover collegiate opportunities and create community around the game.  We are a standards driven national league connected to the Girls Academy that will encourage clubs to compete and grow, maximizing the development of their players.  By creating a cohesive framework in line with the most dynamic organizations in the country, where nothing is given and everything earned, we will raise the bar in youth soccer…together.”

Triangle United is excited about this opportunity to join this league for the upcoming year.  This unique league for girls only will allow our players to participate against other clubs with the same mindset.  More details to come shortly regarding the program as well as a virtual club meeting.
