Futsal
A fast paced and high skill game developed from soccer that is played between two teams of five players each , one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than a normal soccer ball. The surface, ball, and rules favor ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique.
Triangle United Futsal League
The Triangle United Futsal League is designed to give players the opportunity to play futsal in a league format. Games occur on Sunday afternoon at Homestead Park Turf from early December through early February. For more information and to register a team, go to the link below.
Hornets Futsal Club
Triangle United and Hornets Futsal Club are working together to provide a higher level of Futsal for players in our area. This program offers a sign up program as well as a tryout program, where players travel around NC, Region, and US to play Futsal. For more information, go the link below.
