For the 2026-2027 season, the Girls Academy is returning to seasonal-year age divisions for all programs. Please review the updated age ranges below to identify your child's group. When registering via PlayMetrics, our system will automatically place your child into the correct division based on their birth date.

Girls Academy League (GAL)

"The Girls Academy is the leading youth development platform for the best female soccer players in the United States. We are the only national youth soccer platform that represents the collective vision of member clubs and actively engages the voice of the players to take real ownership of the league.


We embrace the desire of club members and players to maintain an unrivaled standard of excellence in coaching, competition, and regional and national showcase events throughout the year. For the 2025-2026 season, the club will play in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (South Division). There are 12 clubs within this division which include the following clubs: Alexandria SA (VA), CDA (NC), Charlotte Independence (NC), Loudoun SC (VA), McLean YS (VA), NVA (VA), Skyline Elite (VA), Springfield YC (VA), TJSFC (VA), Triangle United (NC), VA Revolution (VA), and Wake FC (NC)

Triangle United and our GA girls program are excited about our partnership with Duke University and their Sports Sciences Institute. Players in the GA girls Program have access to some of the best Specialists in the World. The FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence at Duke Sports Medicine will be conducting Sports Performance Assessments for GA girls teams. 


The testing will include assessments of: Flexibility, Strength, Power, Speed, & Agility
